Hello everyone! I am a pre-nursing student right now and will start nursing school in Fall. I am currently looking at 2 different schools and didn't make a final decision yet. Some students were mentioning that one of the schools is very "community health oriented", especially when it comes to clinicals. Can anybody explain to me what does that mean? And what other types of "orientations" can school have? I am a little confused.

Clinic nursing, school nursing, things like that. I have a clinical rotation at a free clinic tomorrow, that would be community nursing. It involves nursing in a non traditional setting, like outside of the hospital.
