Is there anyone out there on the waiting list? If so, how long have you been/were on it? Is it going faster now that the there is a spring and fall semester starting? Anyone getting discouraged? Just curious! Thanks.
By the way, I am on the waitlist for PPCC in Colo. Springs and my backup is Arapahoe CC.
Anyone been through this recently? I am on the waitlist at Pikes Peak CC. Thanks again.

I've been on for 2 years and according to the calculations they told me to use....
My number is 1239 they stopped at 1026 (ACC) I still have 2 years to wait.
I am really annoyed. I am starting to look into DSON.
I'm so sorry about that. That is crazy! It sounds like it's worth it to pay a little extra just to get your career started. DSON is too far for me to drive but maybe I should look at some private schools down here. Thanks for letting me know.

Look into TSJC alamosa campus. The waiting list is usually 6 months to 1 year if you have all your coreqs completed.

I just got my invitation letter to be an alternate for Spring 09 semester at ACC. I got on the waitlist in December 2005. If I lived in the Springs, I'd definitely head south for my nursing degree, since those waitlists are shorter.

Colorado Tech in Pueblo has NOooooo waiting! They are a bit expensive and a bit of drive for me so I'm still chugging away at PPCC.

You can usually get into Fort Morgan quickly but it's pretty secluded which is why. Would obviously depend on where you live if that would even be an option.
I got on the waitlist, March 2006, I just got my acceptance a few weeks ago to start this fall, so my total wait time would have been 3.5 years when I start. As of right now the wait at my college FRCC-Larimer is 2-2.5 There is a separate waitlist for previous BS holders, they can get on the waitlist before Pre Reqs are done and work on the Pre Reqs while waiting.
But I do know when I first got on the WL I hadn't yet moved to CO yet, I knew I would be waiting for a while and planned on taking Micro when waiting (at that time Micro wasn't required to apply, just had to be done before you started) I had to pick 3 schools and I picked FRCC and Fort Morgan and Arapohoe I think it was. That summer I got an acceptance for Fort Morgan. I wasn't ready, still had to take Micro, I was floored I got it so soon. I deffered it 1 year so got acceptance the next spring again but I passed for good and waiting for my turn locally since I had a child and it would work out better for me to wait.
Anyway, best of luck to you.
