I’ve been working as a RN in a SNF coming upon a year next month. Just completed my RN to BSN last month. Ive been a wound nurse in my facility since I started. I also work the Med cart every now and then. I run a lot of IV antibiotics for the patients. I can’t get an acute care position, can it be my resume? I have my  bls, acls and I have a skin wound ostomy certification for long term care facilities.  I havnt even been able to get an interview. I’m in the San Francisco Bay Area where it’s really saturated. Single mom, whole family is here. Leaving the state isn’t an option for me.

I know there are some acute rehab units in the Bay Area.  That might be a good bridge from SNF to acute.
