most of you may remember be as "nursing student 19". i worked as a school health aide for 2 years while in school for my lpn.
well i have an interview with a school nurse agency tomorrow and i'm excited.
for the most part i loved doing school health. i just hope i can get back in the flow of things since i have not done it in a while and will be going to different counties in my area.
i'm going to try my best to get work in the county that i worked in since i'm familiar with the forms and policies.
school nursing has its pros and cons but overall i thoroughly enjoyed it.
my only concern is that it may be slow in the beginning of the year so far as shifts being avail. so i better hold on to a part time job.
anyway, just wanted to share and please wish me luck !

Welcome back, and good luck!
Thank you. The interview went great ! I hope I get the job. Some counties only hire RNs so that limits where I can work.
Thankfully I'm in the RN program and expect to graduate this upcoming December, so that will open up more opportunities. I pray I graduate!
I will keep you guys posted.

Congrats Girl and welcome back!!!!!:w00t:
So its' official ! I start my orientation for my sub- school nurse position tomorrow !!! I'm super excited and can't wait. I really did enjoy being a health assistant and it feels great to know that now that I'm licensed I can do more for the kids. I thank God so much for this opportunity.
