Comfortable 12-hr chair???

Please somebody recommend a type of CHAIR my behind can tolerate for 12 hours?! :uhoh3: I am new to Hospice work and I am pretty certain that our local Hospice company's have instructed all the pt family's to go to Walgreens and purchase a $4.99 white plastic back yard chair for the nurse to sit in for 12 hours:crying2:! I am willing to keep something ANYTHING in my car in such BEHIND emergencies!!!

SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE!!!

i work with a nurse who carries one of those fold up camping chairs..with the cupholder in the armrest..in her car just for that type of emergency. they aren't the most comfy but definitely better than a white plastic yard chair OR WORSE a metal fold up chair! yikes!

OMG! I never even considered a metal chair:eek:! That would have to qualify as some type of TORTURE technique...Waterboarding, Sleep Deprivation, 12 HOUR METAL CHAIR SITTING...:crying2:...I'm on my way to Walmart right now!:chair:
