Columbia University School of Nursing - Masters Direct Entry (MDE) / DNP 2024

Hello everyone! This thread is for folks applying to Columbia's MDE/DNP program for 2024! Good luck :)!

Hi folks,

So I just called admissions was told that the BSN/DNP folks are not going to find out their status on the same day as the MDE folks.  Guess we will have to wait just a little longer!

Thanks for calling them Rasaan! That is good to know. I have a question for the admitted students. Did you guys receive your scholarship/financial aid info along with your admission letter?

Thanks for calling... this is frustrating. I specifically called "twice" on different days to confirm this... and they were adamant that we would find out the same day as the MDE students I knew something didn't sound right did they give you an indication on when we would find out? Is it this week still?  Congrats tot he MDE applicants ?

The person I spoke to did not give me information about when the BSN/DNP folks would find out.

3.8 GPA from Columbia undergrad, no medical field background whatsoever (I'm a teacher!) but good letters of rec (I presume haha) and really good essays (again NOT trying to toot my own horn at all LOL- writing is my strong suit!). Not sure if that's what you meant by stats but that's a lil about me ?
