I am thinking of going to Metro and had just a few general question I was wondering if you could help me with. What is your schedule like on a daily and weekly basis? Does this schedule change depending on the unit or placement? How hard would you say your classes are? I know people in other programs and they say that pharm and patho are the major classes and the rest are a lot less difficult, is this true for Metro? Do you work or know anyone that works while in the program? I know the 2010 program will be a little more spread out, so maybe we could work a little more than your class. What subjects have you had the most trouble with and would suggest studying up for before school starts?

I am also an applicant to Metro. I was put on the alternate list however. I was hoping that you or anyone else might be able to shed some light on this process. According to student's rights by national agencies...we have a right to know the: number of alternates from the last cohort, how many were accepted, what number we are, etc. Do you or does anyone know more about Metro's alternate lists?
Nov 2, '09From: US ; Joined: Jan '09; Posts: 5; Likes: 2I got my acceptance letter from Metro on Friday. Unfortunately, my wife got a job out of state so we'll be moving and I won't be able to attend MSCD. I'm bummed, but feel good about getting accepted anyway.
So if anybody's on the wait list, there's at least one person giving up a spot.
Good luck to everyone!
