Hi everyonoe,

I am considering applying the the AAS program at the Front Range Community College Larimer campus and am wondering if anyone can share a sample class/clinical schedule. I'm trying to determine if it is feasible for me right now as the mother of a young child.

	Thanks!

Does anyone know what Denver Health's PRN work policy is? Do they require you to work a certain number of days per schedule?

	Thanks!

I didn't see a thread started for this Fall's UCAN program at CU Denver. I applied and am still waiting to hear about an interview. Has anyone heard anything yet?

Hello! I'm currently a new student applying to the FRCC nursing program and was wondering how it's going for anyone else or if there is any input or suggestions from people in the program or currently applying. I've been super stressed because of how competitive it. Any help is greatly appreciated:)

I live out of state and am trying to sign up for the NCLEX in Colorado, I signed up via Pearson and got the acknowledgment of Registration but then licensure board states I need to have graduated before I can fill out an application. I graduate in about 3 weeks so is it an issue that I wait to fill out my application or will Pearson need to reregister? I tried calling the Nursing Licensure Board but couldn't get through, sent them an email as well but wanted to see if anyone had any experience with this?

Does anyone know of a legitimate entry-level RN program (can be Associates, Bachelor's, or Master's) that is acceptable for Colorado residents? I have a previous bachelor's and master's degree in another subject.

We have some great traditional in-person programs here in Colorado, but I would LOVE to find a program where the coursework is done virtually, with local clinicals as I homeschool my babies.

Hi! I applied for NP school that will start in Fall 2023. I also learned recently that my husband won a once in a lifetime all expenses paid trip to go backpack Jeju Island in Korea in October. I would like to go with him, and he really wants me to go too. We'd be gone a total of 7 days. Curious for those who have been in or done NP school, is it feasible to take a week long trip? I imagine I will complete the week's assignment before we depart. Thanks!

	Hello,

I am planning on getting a certification this year but am having a hard time deciding between the Ambulatory Care Nursing Certificate (AMB-BC) and the Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) one. I work at an ambulatory infusion center so the CRNI one was what I had originally planned on, but I see that a lot of infusion nurses have the AMB-BC. I can't seem to find any exam content for AMB-BC though so I just don't know if it would be a better fit. Anyone out there have advice for me?

	Thank you!!

Hello! I am a new grad nurse currently working on a medical telemetry progressive care unit. I chose this unit because I felt it would be a good foundation for a future FNP working with underserved populations, specially at our local homeless clinic. Has anyone gone down a similar path ? I would be curious to hear your thoughts. Should I also gain ER experience ? How long should I work on the floor before going for my FNP? Thank you for your thoughts !

Compliments of the season to all.

I am pursuing an accelerated BSN, and one of the requirements I need is direct patient care pertinent to the field of nursing. These skills need to include taking vital signs, assisting with ambulation and other activities of daily life, interacting with nurses and other care team members, and serving as a patient advocate.

I was previously a Navy Corpsman and a surgical technician, but that was about twelve years ago. I also recently completed all of the course requirements for CU UCAN.

Is getting a CNA my best option, or can I get patient care experience volunteering at a clinic/ hospital?

	Kind regards,

Can anyone tell me anything about working in the PACU at Sky Ridge medical center? I am currently an ICU RN who would like to transfer into PACU, and am wondering if this would be a good transfer for me or if I should apply for jobs within Centura, UCHealth, SCL, or Denver Health. Any info is helpful!! Specifically, what is the schedule like? Weekend requirements? Management? Teamwork? I just don’t want to get myself into another job that I really don’t like and doesn’t treat me well.
