College of Marin Fall 2021

Hello!  I just applied to COM’s nursing program for fall 2021. I believe I have 86 points per my calculations. Anyone else applying?  I heard that quite a lot of applicants from 2020 who got in last year decided to defer for a year due to COVID, so there will be less available spots this year!!  I’m hoping 86 pts is enough to get in, and I’m also hoping to apply for the BSN program through either option they offer. Would love to hear from anyone else hoping to get in to COM Nursing this year!

Thanks for starting this! I was wondering how many people will be starting with Fall 2021 from last years cohort as well. I think I'll be applying with 87 points but could be more depending on my TEAS (I take it at the end of the month). Hoping for the best, but we will see. Good luck to everyone!

Poppy thx for joining this thread!  We can all wait anxiously together!  My friend who is also applying for fall ‘21 said that she heard there are only a “handful” of people that chose to defer to ‘21, so I am interpreting that as 5 or less people.

Does anyone know if we will get an email confirming how many points we applied with? Finally submitted my app jan 30th, now comes the exercise in extreme patience. Good luck everyone  ?

My friend who applied last year said they will send an email confirming your points. I submitted my application in early November - so the waiting has been awful!  I’m sure it will be at least a couple weeks while they tally everyone’s points and then send those before the selection process?  Sooner would be nice though!  Are you applying anywhere else?

Do let us know when you get your email! I still haven't received mine. I'm applying to CCSF, Merritt, SJSU and COM. Hoping to get in somewhere!

I looked on the COM nursing site a few days ago, and it says they won’t start notifying until “late April” ?
