Has anyone applied for College of Mainland nursing program for Fall 2015?

@ Forshia I really hope that's true reason being Is that I just came from the college and they told me the committee doesn't meet until May 7 to discuss and start going through the applications, She said don't expect letters until last week of May to the beginning week of June. I hope what they have told you Is true because I don't want to wait a entire month.

Yea that what she told me. But again maybe because there aren't a lot of applicants. I agree, next week would be great, because waiting a month or more makes you crazy lol!

Hey guys I just called to make sure that my application was good and everything turned in. I was told that we should definitely know something by the middle of the month. Today isn't even over yet and I'm feeling anxious😤🙏 but also excited💃

Me and my sister applied to the program and she told me that they would be calling people THIS WEEK letting them know if they were accepted or not and that they would also be e-mailing. My score was 433.6 so i'm hoping its high enough i only applied to the COM nursing program. Really wanted to take health assessment during the summer but had no clue they had a list.

I sure hope we hear something soon as well! I hope we all get in. I'm so anxious to start.

Btw, does anyone applying have a BA or BS?

I think that would be a little to quick...I wish it was that quick but from what they have told me today they will be calling/emailing later this week and the rest of next week for the acceptance to take the health assessment which starts May 26.

It is quick but if there were not a lot of students that applied, they make make their decisions quickly. A few people heard that they should be calling/emailing this week, but maybe it's just for those on the list for health assessment to let them know that have been accepted and can start

the class. I really wish I could've gotten the chance to sign up for it.

Oh ok my million dollar question that I ask them Is the students that get accepted to take the health assessment course do they get accepted to the program for fall as well. What happens if they dont get accepted to the program then they just basically wasted $400.

Exactly! Maybe they will go through the list of those who signed up for health assessment and see who they are going to accept. Then those spots in the class will open up since there were some who were not accepted. That's a good question to call and ask the nursing department. That also may be why they will have to let students know about acceptance at least within the next week or so.

Ugh I'm still waiting on my transcripts to be evaluated...but I did turn in everything that was need to apply for the program.

So am I. When I turned in my last 2 transcripts at the school last week, the lady that does the evaluations told me she is behind on her evaluations so expect it to be done in about 1-2 weeks. The nursing advisor said as long as you turned it in before the deadline it's fine.

That's crazy, when I turned in mine it was finished the next day.
