Hi everyone and TGIF! I was creeping on the ER forum a while back and I believe I saw a fellow SN post about a class/discussion they have with high school students about how to be a good health care consumers in college. Does this ring a bell for anyone? If so - I would love more info about this. Is it something you put together? Or is it a curriculum of sorts?
Thank you!

That would be me! And it is a curriculum I've both designed and slightly adapted from previous classes I've taught and made specific to the college transition. I do three classes. I go through all the needs-to-know about health care in one class, review sex-ed in another (especially consent and when/where to go to get sexual health care), and drugs/alcohol in another (including commons OTCs, their uses, dosages, etc).
I am glad you found me! This sounds like an awesome concept. Do you have any materials that are easily share-able? If not, I can work on something myself. Thanks again!
