Can anyone recommend a company that offers malpractice insurance for CNM students?? I'm having a hard time finding one.
Thank you.

You're required to get malpractice insurance as a student? Outside of the school's own malpractice that covers their students?
Yes we do any ideas about where I can find coverage?

What school are you in? Weird that they don't provide malpractice coverage.

There is an ACNM Student Midwife group on FB. IF you are on FB, perhaps someone there may know.
I've never heard of this. Katie's suggestion is a good one. Do your professors not give you info about this?
I am not on Facebook :/ the program faculty did mention some names to research. Cm&f, proliability, NSO.... They were speaking to PNP, NNP, and CNM students. All of those companies exclude midewifery...

The only option for SNM students is Contemporary Insurance Solutions at Medical Malpractice Insurance for Physicians, Midwives, and other Medical Professionals | Contemporary Insurance Services
It will cost you $519 for the year and it's pretty easy to get done. If you PM me, I can help you through the process as I just signed up myself.

I know this is an old post but wanted to double-check whether Contemporary Insurance Services is the only insurance company providing professional Liability Insurance for student midwives or have other companies come on the market since then? Thank you!
