Cna transfer state to state

I was trying to google this answer but I had no luck. Well I live in CT and I'm planning on moving on the boarder line of CT and Rhode Island. It would be easier for me to work in Rhode Island because it's closer and I wouldn't have to take the highway for work. I would need to transfer my cna license to the state of r.i but I'm not sure if I can do this without living in RI. Does anyone know if the 2 states have to match?? Thanks so much

I got my cna licence in ga and transferred it to Florida (where i worked) but i lived in ga..so it may just vary state to state
