CNA Programs Knoxville, TN

Published

Hi, I was wondering if anybody knew about any CNA programs in Knoxville, TN. I am a college student here majoring in psychology and wanting to do an accelerated nursing program (too late to change my major). I would like to do a CNA training and work part time while I finish my bachelor's and gain experience. I only know of the Red Cross's program, and was curious about how easy it is to find a job once finishing their program. Thank you!

You could also get it at the Tennessee Technology Center of Knoxville. It's a really nice school and it's a lot cheaper than the Red Cross. I took my phlebotomy there and I loved it. Google it. It's right off Papermill Drive.

I got a job just a couple of weeks out of my CNA course. There are plenty of LTC facilities in Knox but you could also do hospital work or home health care.

Good luck to you! :)

I called yesterday and their classes are filled until July, and they only have evening ones open at that one. I would do that but the two month long program for evening classes would conflict with my classes at UT starting in August :(

HEy there!

I found that the Goodwill Industries in knoxville, tn provides a CNA program. It costs $690 for the program which provides 192 hours of classroom and clinical instruction.

There is another school too in Knoxville. Compassionate Care Technical Center. They offer both day and evening. I did their day class only 3 weeks long. Cost $675 that includes American Heart CPR and books. Its private, but the owners and the teachers are very nice and goes above and beyond to help you. I know I could not have been able to afford my training if it was not of them offering payment plan. You can check them out at www.cnatrainingknox.com I think. Wish you all the best.
