I would remove the objective, as I've heard it's outdated on resumes. Also, since your work experience isn't related to any health care field, I would bump your education and certification up before your work experience. Here's a copy of my resume. It's 1 page long, and I used it to apply to hospital jobs lately. I have no CNA work experience, just school experience, and applied to 2 hospitals that both wanted at least 1 year of acute care experience in a hospital. I have none, but applied anyways, and was offered the job at both places with my resume. I accepted a position on a large medsurg unit.

Here's a copy of my resume I used:

I've never had any issues getting any job that I've applied for . I would only list 3 of your most recent jobs not 5 also

Specializes in Med-Surg/urology.

When I took Nursing Seminar, our instructor told us if you have bullet points, do not use periods. If you wish to use periods, then lose the bullet points. Again, not my advice, but my instructor's. I did it her way & my resume did get some bites when I was job searching. Eventually I landed a position :)

Thanks for the feedback! I definitely took all your suggestions into consideration :o

I hope no one minds if I hijack and post my Resume as well!
