I was working at a nursing home when I was fired for allegedly taking a video with a resident in it. It's been months later and an investigator with the state is contacting me asking to meet and discuss my side of what happened. I've started a new job at another facility since being fired and my status on the registry hasn't changed. Am i being charged? Why do they want to meet with me now? Would they have changed my registry status if i was under investigation? I don't know what to do. I'm currently in school for nursing and cannot lose my stna license.
