CNA certification Transfer from Oklahoma to Maryland state.

  1. Hello Everyone,
Please i have a couple of questions to ask.

    (1) Does anyone have the CNA reciprocity state list? Do well to post the link on this post, i need to know if a CNA cert from Oklahoma state can transfer to Maryland state.
Again, i am planning to complete my CNA training and testing in Oklahoma before moving to Maryland in December 2018 as an international student.

    (2) Can someone tell me if not working immediately in Oklahoma state before transferring the certificate to Maryland will affect the trasnfer. I'm really concerned about their requirement that says the CNA has to be current, active and in good standing...can not holding a paid CNA job between now and December make my certificate inactive?

    (3) I was originally in a BSN program but got dismissed unjustly after completing my junior year. I have completed 2 semesters of clinical in Medical-Surgical nursing, done fundamentals of nursing, physical assessment, pharmacology before the dismissal happened. Can i apply to the Maryland board of nursing to challenge the CNA exam without completing the training, even though i did not finish the nursing program? I know Some states do accept nursing students entering senior year to do it, but i was trying to hear from anyone that might have done it or knows someone that has done it.

Please i will appreciate all the answers i will get relating to my questions. Thank you in anticipation!!!

What was unjust about your dismissal from the BSN program?

Thank you ma'am for asking that question, but that isn't the focus of this post. I will prefer to keep the discussion about my dismissal away from this post, as it sparks off unnecessary controversy and make some some people conclude that i am purposely pulling the race card! That is to enable me get the answers i need without the topic digressing to something else here. Thank you for you anticipated understanding!
