FOR IENS out there.

I posted a topic here regarding to my CA BRN concurrency issues.

Right now I decided to go back school and take my pre reqs:

Anatomy Lec&Lab

Physiology Lec&Lab

English 1A

Good news:

I don't have to pay nothing because of the BOG fee waiver. The community college that I'm going to attend is CA BRN accredited as well. My class starts this January 2015, it is a evening class so I can still work as full time LVN. The only thing that I have to worry is the books and etc. from school. My school is like 10mins away from home and 30 mins away from work. After I'm done to my all pre reqs I'm eligible now to apply for LVN-RN program for 2016.

Kinda bad news:

I have to wait till 2017 that time I'm already finish my RN program so that my RN license in other state will be eligible to endorse here in CA. I'm planning to take my nclex RN in other state this year of 2015. So that even though I'm in school I already took my nclex RN and holding a RN license. The only thing that I'm waiting is my graduation so that I can endorse my license here in CA coz I already went to school.

The CA BRN ask me to do the program not OB or MS or Pharma only. They ask me to go into program to sit for NCLEX RN.

I know it's gonna be a long process for me but I have no choice but to do this. I want to become RN here in Cali I don't want to go in other state to work as RN even I have RN license in other state someday. Because after I endorse my RN license here in Cali even though I only finish a LVN-RN program (not BSN program) I will be RN BSN because of BSN in Phippines before. My classmate already did this that's why I'm inspire to do it :)

I'm going to have my RN, BSN (California) someday.

To God Be The Glory. :)

Ironically, it is states other than California that need you the most. I'll never comprehend why most of the IENs are itching to work in California: too many hoops to jump through and too few jobs.
