I'm in the middle of a divorce, and in my custody and alimony case I need to be able to state facts and plans for the future. I'm trying to get registered for a CNA course this fall, and then I'd like to do home health care while I'm in nursing school.
About how much does a CNA make in home health care? My best friend is a nurse and she makes 55.00 per visit, but we're unsure of how much CNA's are paid per visit.
Thanks

I had several friends in nursing school who where CNA's in the home health setting and they made between $8-10/hr depending on the agency.

I am salary and get paid no matter how many or how few clients I see a day. If you are a CNAII with med. lic.'s you will make alot more. get a job with a state funded agency and you will make better + have benifits.

just want to add a little correction here: cna's, med techs, etc., do not hold a license. they have a certificate and operate under the nurse's license. now back to our regularly scheduled thread... :)
