Does anyone know what the requirements are to take the CNA exam as a nursing student (ie- how many clinical hours required). I know that you must complete the Fundamentals nursing course prior to taking the exam, but is there an exemption to the skills exam if you have a certain number of clinical hours? I tried contacting the company directly, but was unable to get an answer to the question I was inquiring about. Have any nursing students gotten their CNA license and found it to be helpful? Thanks!

You can find the information here at the bottom of the page. It looks like you just need to take the written exam if your school signs off on the clinical skills
