Hi Everyone,

Just want to find out clinical rotation schedules of other SRNAs and compare how different programs are across the country

Here is my schedule:

5 months general surgery, 2 months pediatric surgery (childrens hospital), 1 month LD/OB rotation, 1 month cardiac/open heart surgery, 1 month trauma/general surgery, 1 month regional anesthesia, 2 months general surgery, 1 month neuro-surgery, 2 months trauma, 3 months general surgery

19 months of anesthesia rotations at 9 different hospitals

Thanks

Our clinical rotations are mainly delineated by hospital, except for specialty rotations...OB, hearts, peds, pain/regional, trauma/call, and bariatric(j/k most of our cases are bariatric cases already all of which we get about a month of.

That being said, we may be assigned at any hospital and do hearts or trauma, or some regional...so it's really a mixed bag. And we may only be in the OR 2 or 3 days a week for a certain month for a "good" rotation. but our coordinator wil work with us in the last couple of semesters to get in any cases we may need....
