Clinical attire

I am still waiting on acceptance/rejections, but am curious to know what you wear to clinical rotations. Does it depend on the rotation? Does your school mandate a dress code?

School dictates scrubs/outfit. Ours is the same uniform for all clinical rotations.

I wear business casual along with my school ID badge. We were advised to check with our preceptors for dress code requirements. Some preceptors like the students to wear a white lab coat - mine doesn't, she says it's "too formal", lol. She's fantastic.

We are required to follow facility policy and include a white lab coat. Depending on the rotation, that is either business casual or scrubs with the white coat. I've had a mixture and most places don't care which you wear. I just try to match my preceptor on dress code.

Usually business casual with a lab coat. But like others have said, it depends on the site. In my ED rotation I wore scrubs.

Business casual. In the health assessment practicum on anatomical models and patients we had to wear a lab coat. Since then no coat.
