HI ALL! I NEED A LITTLE INSIGHT FROM YOU. I AM APPLYING TO BOTH SCHOOLS FOR THEIR NURSING PROGRAM WHICH INCLUDES DAY & EVENING PROGRAMS. DUE TO JOB REASON, I NEED TO KNOW WHAT ARE THE GENERAL TIMES FOR CLASSES FOR THE DAY PROGRAM AND FOR THE EVENING. WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR IS IF YOU ARE IN THE EVENING PROGRAM DOES WOULD YOUR CLASSES START AFTER 5 P.M.? ALSO IF IT'S A DAY PROGRAM IS IT BASICALLY FROM 7-3 INCLUDING CLINICALS?
THANKS FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE.

I can tell you about Jeff State Day program. First Semester I was in class Monday. Tuesday, Wed 8-11 Clinicals were one day a week either Thrus or Fri 6:30 till 2 and that wasnt every week only went 5 weeks. As the semester went on we went less days too. Second semester was harder and in class 5 hrs a day. 8-2 with an hr lunch break. Clinicals same time fram but we went 2 days a week for 3 weeks plu we had to go Wed after class for a preclinical but again it was only for 3 weeks. We had a few other peds and L&D clinicals but we were done by noon for those. This summer I will be ion class one day a week 9-2:30 plus clinicals not sure how many I will have of thoses I think 7-8 and maybe only one time a week. We have a student that left the night time because she was not happy with it. I wish you the best. Just know taht nursing school is hard and takes alot of self study to do well. Be sure to look at pass rates from each school and find out about requirements such as ERI tests. We have to pass 1-2 each semester or we fail regardless if we have a A in the class. Just do alot of research before you choose your program! Then be prepare to give your life to school!!
Best Wishes!
