Members are discussing the application process and acceptance criteria for a nursing program. Some members are sharing their stats and experiences with rejection despite high GPAs and HESI scores, while others are asking about the program's schedule and NCLEX pass rates. Additionally, there is a group invite for accepted students to join a study group.
Hello! I'm a pre-nursing student hoping to start in the UTHealth Cizik Pacesetter program for Fall 2025. I'm starting this thread to connect with other pre-nursing students aiming for the program, as well as current students who might be able to answer our questions. If you're comfortable, please feel free to share your stats, questions, comments, or any concerns. We're all in this together, and hopefully, we'll be celebrating our acceptance together!

IDK if it has changed but I checked with their transcript person last semester and they had mentioned that for science courses they calculate all, even repeated ones. Only for non-science courses do they take the most recent. But you can also cross check in the website, I saw it there first then called to confirm.

Yes I called today but they just let me know they recieved my transcript and scores so there's nothing wrong with calling them

The science pre-reqs (Anatomy I & II, Microbiology, and Chemistry) and their respective labs were all required to be completed at the time of submitting your application. Only the non-science pre-reqs are allowed to be completed on a conditional basis after getting accepted.
