Hi, I am a pre-nursing student aspiring to start my nursing journey at UTHSC Pacesetter program in Spring 2025. I am starting this thread to connect with individuals on the same path. I will complete my prerequisites by August 2024 and plan to take HESI the same month. I plan to catch the deadline of September 1, 2024, for Spring 2025 admission. I am nervous since if I don't get admitted this time, I will be wasting more than 6 months. I really hope I get this.

My application was received August 30th anyone hear back around that time for their application like if they got accepted ?

What was your stat. Mine was received Aug 13. But I didn't hear nothing also. I don't know if they are still sending emails. But I don't think so

Science GPA : 3.6 

Pre req: 3.7 

TEAS: 96.7

What's yours? I called and they said they're still sending some out but that was around 2 pm ...

I applied a little before that, I heard back the 10th.

Those are amazing stats. I think those people look at the clinical experience or something cuz me too I have mostly same stats but nothing. But if so, why they don't explain that. I am very disappointed. I don't what kind of scores and application they want.

Well if it makes you feel any better my HESI was 87. I applied by Sep 5th. Nothing yet and I have clinical experience. Praying I get in... it's literally a dream.

I agree ... when I asked about any type of experience they say that doesn't hold a place value but it feels like it does . This is my first time applying and if I don't get in I'll definitely reapply for next cohort , but I find it odd and super disappointing that we haven't heard anything back.

I'm right there with you don't worry !! If we don't get in this time we have the next and from what I heard usually during the Summer the GPA's that are usually accepted are 3.2-3.3 so we definitely have a better chance of getting in! I won't be so upset about it just more determined ☺️

Hey guys! They literally will send acceptances until Nov 15th week so don't be discouraged. They will also send a denial letter if you didn't get in so if you don't have one, don't feel down. 
 

I applied last cohort and was denied because of my transcripts arriving after the deadline. I was sent a denial letter the very last week, while some were getting acceptances. I have plenty of clinical experience so I don't think that's a factor.

Thanks for your nice words. I thought they just send acceptance emails for 2 batches

No, they don't. When I applied the last time some people had already gotten an acceptance. I really applied last minute because they just started accepting the TEAS exam Fall term. We have similar stats so I think you should be good!
