Anyone else applying?

I’m planning on doing the aas program and then doing a bachelors immediately after. There’s programs that will let me go from RN to MSN in 3 years instead of 4 or I could do my aas and then finish my BSN in 9 months to 1 year

Oh got it! Yea I'm gonna do my AAS and then try to get into a BSN program I've been looking at Mount Sinai, they have a nice program. Kind of wish I would’ve did another major and got my bachelors and then just did a BS to RN program there. But IDK I’m just every eager to get in now versus getting a degree for a major that I’m truly under interested in and would be miserable studying.

you don't need to do another major and then do a accelerated BSN program because those program are very intense and you are only allowed to repeat one class

Yea, I know it’s intense that’s why I decided to do it this way. But for RN to BSN I’m gonna transfer definitely.

Hello.

I was looking to take A&p1 this Summer, but it’s online asynchronously. Would anyone recommend this? Or should I take in fall? ALso how would the tests be given? Online? Do the classes use a meet app? How about lab?

@User712 so right now I’m taking A&P 1 online. Honestly, it’s difficult but not impossible. Lab is given online, my teacher uploads videos to our content section on blackboard and she uploads the quizzes and there timed. We use blackboard ultra to meet. For lecture something honestly. Only thing is you gotta just give it your all, sometimes connections are funky and a lot of the material you’d want to actually visually be in a class to learn but like I sad it’s not impossible. I actually don’t know if we’ll even be in school for the fall anyway so it’s basically just up to you.

Sorry for lecture I meant samething*** sorry I said “something” LOL @User712

Thanks a lot. I honestly don’t know what will happen in the fall as well. So they are timed multiple choice tests? It will be a lot because Summer is a five week session, but it will be my only class so I can focus on that. And then in the fall I can take math and TEAS test and apply for nursing for Spring 2021.

sound like a good plan to me, but the a&p1 in the Summer will be rough but it's doable.

@Sokhna Diop so yea I reached out to the guy again and you were right we can submit. I’m just waiting on my counselor to send over my transcripts since I’m a transfer student.

It’s okay. I was told city tech had a better one. And I scored a C on one of my pre reqs and didn’t bother applying.
