I am applying to several Accelerated BSN programs. I am interviewing at Jacksonville University and the University of North Florida, and it is very possible that I will have to make a choice between these two schools (should both accept me).
I would like to hear from people who've been to either of these schools. What did you most like and most dislike about their nursing programs? If you could go back in time would you change your decision?

I'm also applying to both schools. I have an interview for JU in a couple of weeks. I personally will probably choose JU, I've heard so many great things about their program and the only thing I have heard about UNF is that most of the students who go their program are not satisfied with the community portion they have to commit to each semester as well as it being unorganized, it may be a flagship program but small classes and professors who care will trump it when it comes to me making my decision of which one to attend. Good luck to you!

Both colleges are well respected within the community. I'm currently in my last semester at JU and would recommend it if you want to go into the critical care field because that is what we are known for; however UNF just added a Perioperative course that I wish they had when I first started my nursing degree. JU's class sizes aren't as small as you would expect ranging 35-40 students easily. All in all, great program that has a great report among area hospitals. If you have any questions about JU I would love to answer them. Best of luck on your nursing journey!
