Hey guys! I am starting this for the March 2024 Cohort at CHLA. As people hear back about interviews, hopefully we can update each other.

CONGRATS!! what time did duque call you if you don't mind me asking :))

Thank you! I got the call around 3pm. I know that people who received offers have until Friday to accept. I know a few people who received offers for both units and will be rejecting their offer for the other unit. So I think more calls will definitely be going out after Friday! Hoping for good news for everyone here! ??????

Specializes in ICU.

Anyone get any more calls yet?

Not over here. Definitely lost hope at this point.

Anyone hear from 6 East?

Has anyone heard back from the float team??

Anyone heard from 6w?

I know 2 people who already heard back from 6 East but IDK how many more they are hiring and last time the person making the phone calls was doing the med surg floors calls all one day so I'm assuming people also heard back from 6 West too.

Has anyone heard back from the ED?

I'm starting to. I'm pretty sad, which is dampening my joy over graduating on Saturday.

I can understand that. But be proud of yourself for getting this far! Keep your head up. We just have to keep applying to places. Something will come through.

I do wish they would send us letters informing us that we did not get the position so we can at least move forward mentally ha ha

I understand how you feel. In all honesty, I feel like I got lucky with my interview. But likeDG_23 said, you made it this far. That is an impressive feat in itself. This is a very competitive program. For some of us, this was our second attempt. Keep at it - if peds is your dream, then you can overcome anything to make it happen.

Just a general information post, but if I didn't get my offer, I was planning on working for a year, then doing the transition into practice program with CHLA. Defiantly look into this! Here's the website for more information! https://www.chla.org/nursing/transition-RN-fellowship-pediatrics

hi, I agree with what everyone is saying! If it helps ease anyones minds I called HR and they said they are in meetings all day, so maybe they are just held up right now :))
