Hi friends!

I know it's early and applications don't open until the end of the month but I wanted to start a discussion for anyone applying to the October 2025 cohort for Children's Health. This is my DREAM job so I'm super nervous but we got this!

has anyone heard back for the acute care float pool?

Yall if we hear anything it probably won't be until this week. Recruiters typically don't reach back out the week of/the weekend right after interviews. I say this from past experience

has anyone heard back yet?

I have not. Expecting a rejection letter to come tomorrow though just based on what previous application cycles had said.

I have not either. I feel like somebody in this group would've heard something if they had started calling with offers right

At least you got an offer from Cook Children's! Count yourself lucky

Hi! I didn't get an email but I checked the application portal. Try checking that out! Mine says no longer being considered. I feel like they already know who they are going to hire before even doing interviews LOL.

Thank you I just checked the portal and mine says No Longer Being Considered as well. I gave it two good shots. I think getting a job here comes down to looking a certain way or knowing someone there who can get you in.

Don't get discouraged! Everything happens for a reason! I feel like they don't tell us how hard it is as a new grad to get a job, especially when you want to go into a speciality.

has anyone heard anything at all?

Unfortunately Today I got the "No longer under consideration"  on the job portal / neuroscience....
