Children's Health Dallas July 2020 Nurse Residency

Here's a new thread for anyone who applied for the July 2020 Acute or Critical Care Nurse Residencies at Children's Health Dallas, we can keep each other updated! The application closes today (1/16)! I applied for both tracks!

Anyone interviewing from out of state? I received an email to interview but it’s in person. I know that they do phone/ video interviews because I asked a recruiter prior to applying. I messaged the recruiter letting them know I’m out of state but I worry cause the interview is Tuesday and the recruiter usually doesn’t respond.

I think the whole process is messed up. I didn’t receive phone or video interviews at all, only the behavioral questions. You definitely got the interview, so just go!

I'm out of state as well! The date they gave me to interview won't work out for me. I don't know what I'm going to do.

Prior to applying, I contacted the general recruiting page and they said for out of state They do phone interviews but I didn’t get the option when I received the email. I’m thousands of miles away and can’t be there because of school and my Capstone. It’s just frustrating since they say email prior to Monday if there are any issues but they never reply and are hard to get ahold of.

Has anyone heard back for an interview for the PICU, Dallas ED, Hemodialysis, Hemoc/oncology or cardiology?

Did anyone get a phone call (specifically from CICU) giving you an interview? I got the call and set up a time for next week and the manager said she would email me with details shortly after the phone call. I got the call Friday and still haven't received a confirmation email with all of the details.

I got a phone call and after the phone call it was a couple hours after that I got the email. If you set up the date and time then you should be on her schedule. You probably just need to call her again cause she could have forgot.
