Here's a new thread for anyone who applied for the July 2020 Acute or Critical Care Nurse Residencies at Children's Health Dallas, we can keep each other updated! The application closes today (1/16)! I applied for both tracks!

I received the email with the instructions for the skill survey this morning. But it wasn't really an official offer letter. Is this what your friend received?

According to the text he sent a while back, we need to complete the references and then will get an official letter! I added the text below in case someone didn’t receive it.


“Hello this is Jabar from Children’s Health. I am simply reaching out to relay that with the current pandemic everyone is in a hands on deck position helping with multiple departments as best as we can to ensure the safety of our patients and team members. We are really excited to have you apart of our team. Just know we haven’t forgotten about you?.

What’s to come.

Soon you will receive an official offer letter from myself.

What’s needed.

You will receive an email in regards to the required references needed for the New Graduate position from skill survey by April 2nd . This will need to be completed by April 30th. You can use a professor or instructor for the references. A simple email or text sent to myself communicating this is complete will suffice.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Be safe and see you soon.”

No, she received on official offer letter. My roommate just received an email after she had already received an offer stating:

”you are being considered for registered nurse GN”

she was offered a position for OR back when calls were originally made.

See mine was an email from skill survey asking me to have my 5 references fill out the reference form through the link provided.
