Okay so we don’t sign any kind of contract with Children’s? I guess we are just waiting on the official offer letter which we should get as long as we check off on all those pre screens?

I guess not!

So I heard back but from a different recruiter. When I gave my top 3 choices in the 1st email we sent to Jabar, I ended up interviewing with 1 of my top 3 units for the nurse residency but a few days ago a recruiter called me from one of my other top units and asked if I would still be interested in interviewing with that unit but it would not be a part of the GN residency. I have an interview with them tomorrow so they may still be looking for candidates for other positions!

Oh thats interesting! What unit was that for?

Ooh! I love it there! I used to work there PRN, and I had a couple of clinical shifts there. I interviewed there on Feb 26th. They were my second choice! Good luck to you!

I did interview with her and one of the charge nurses. OCH is an amazing place, and a lot of the people who work there have been there since it was part of Baylor. That includes the techs. They struggle with retaining good people because a lot of people want to get into the organization and transfer to CMC. So they try to make sure in the interview that you actually want to be at OCH and stay there. I hope it works out for you! It really is a special place! My heart is elsewhere, but if my first choice hadn't made me an offer, I’d have gone back to OCH in a minute. Again, best of luck to you!!

Awe thank you so much for the insight. I had a great interview with them and I agree, they are focused on people who will be there long term. I enjoyed speaking with them so I really hope I get an offer!

Has anyone received an official offer letter?
