Children's Dallas Residency July 2023 cohort

I just submitted application to Children's Dallas campus for July 2023 residency, but there was no place for putting preferred units. Does anybody know how is the application process? They said we will submit the "screen form" by Jan 25th. Is that the form that is for putting the units we prefer?

Hi, so I just called and they said my application is showing that it is on hold. IDK what that means they didn't give me a time frame of when to hear back or anything. They just said that's all they can tell me. ?

That's odd.. 

The recruiter has two address and I emailed them both yesterday but haven't heard anything.

Yeah I've emailed like twice and they've never responded. They only replied once to met and that was about 2 weeks ago

I didn't even know they had two emails. I've been emailing the NRP one and I still havent received an email either.

I just had an interview for the OR today. My top choices were OR and NICU, but so far only had an OR interview. They sent me an email Wednesday to sign for an interview slot for Dallas OR.

So weird. There's like a hold up with nicu and PICU, unless they've already chosen most of the interviewees. I just wanted to know if we should expect more invite emails to go out eventually. I guess we just wait

I think ALOT of people applied for those units so it's a lot to go through. The email said interviews are Feb 2nd-17th, so I'd stay hopeful! I think it's based on the unit manager's schedules because 2 of my friends got an interview with Cardiology and Oncology last week. The waiting game sucks...

My top choices were NICU and Cardio ICU. I have only heard back from Cardio ICU. I have a friend who also did NICU, PICU, and neurosciences and only heard back from neuro. Maybe those units aren't looking for many applicants? Based from past threads sometimes they continue to send links to see if anyone is interested on other units and will get interviews then. Don't lose hope!!

I got an email from childrens...this is what it said .

 

" Hi,

All interview invites have been sent at this time. If there is opportunity for another potential interview, we will reach out.

Best,”
