I wanted to see if anyone else on here plans to apply for the nursing program. I feel like my points (30) is pretty low, but Im still going to apply to see what happens. If you're applying, how many points do you have?

Just spoke to health science coordinator and she said letters are going out tomorrow for sure. They have to. Good Luck everyone and I hope we all get in!!!

I tried to call her this morning, but kept getting her voicemail. I'm glad we have a definite date letters are going out!

Yes, they send a letter that you have to sign for either way. Did you apply? If so, how many points did you have? (If you don't mind sharing of course)

Thanks so much, I am a transfer and just starting out so I only have 25. Next year I'll be a better candidate, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to try. Best of luck to you all!

I went to the school today and was told letters went out today, this morning. 65 people were accepted. She could not tell me the cut off score. I forgot to ask how many people applied :( I did ask if they were mailed out soon enough that they would go ahead and be shipped out today and she said yes.

Soooo, I picked up my letter today and I was not accepted. Cut off was 32 but I dont anyone with 32 actually got in because anyone who was accepted had much higher than 32. Good luck to the rest of you!! @clarafuturern you may have an acceptance letter because you applied with 35pts!! Happy early birthday the way!!!

How did you get to pick up your letter? And how do you know everyone had much higher than a 32? If the cutoff was 32, that means the lowest score accepted was a 32.

I asked her because I was only 1 point away so I wanted to know how stiff the competition was this year and she said even if i had 32 points i would not have made it in. They made the cutoff 32 but after looking at all the applications the points were much higher for those that were accepted. So no, the lowest accepted was not 32 unless she lied to my face. Good Luck to you though!!!

Did you pick up your letter this morning before she mailed them? I didn't know you could do that. Don't give up and apply again! I failed CSU's program, applied to Athens Tech and Columbus Tech and got denied. Then, I applied to CVCC and Southern Union and I'm number 6/7 on alternate list there! Don't give up :)

ClarafutureRN, If you don't mind me asking, how many points did you apply to Southern Union with?

I also applied to CVCC but I couldn't use any math points because I was in the middle of taking it.
