Chattahoochee LPN 2017

I was doing a search and found a lot of info about the RN program and admissions but nothing really current for the LPN program. If anyone out there is applying or is in the program I would like to know more. I am possibly moving from New York to Georgia. I added up my points for both the RN and the LPN and have a better chance of probably getting into the LPN. I added my points for LPN to be around 207 out of the possible 270. I only have about 160 for the RN points. I am going to apply to both anyway. My TEAS is a 78 but I want to take it again. Unfortunately taking it over will not help much for the RN program points. I have all prereqs and optional classes as I was in a nursing program in NY. My Sciences is what did me in with points. I had a lot going on at that time. I honestly don't have the time or money to retake them so I am just going to live with it for now. I had a B+ in API, C+ in APII and a C+ in micro. Chattahoochee doesn't use +/- but my previous school did. I was just wondering if anyone had any insight to admissions and the points system. Thanks in advance!

I am wondering if my thread would get more responses in the LPN forum? Anyone familiar with the RN program? I would also welcome insight on the RN program as well.

I guess no one is applying for the LPN?????

Is Chattahoochee the area or the name of the school?

Hi there! I am applying to both RN and LPN programs for the Fall 2017. Attending an application session tomorrow actually!

I am going in April for a session on the 11th and the 17the. Let me know how it went! Thanks for replying!

I've applied, not really sure how I'm feeling about my chances though. I have a mixture of A's and B's with one C.... so I'm just likeí ½í¸¬í ¾í´”

Did you attend an application session yet? I attended the one on the 17th of April. I was able to have my pharm, nutrition, and med term transfer. Very happy for that as they give extra points. What I learned from the session was clinicals could be almost anywhere and the hours can be 12 or 8 hour shifts. The 12 hour shifts caught me off guard because in my ADN program we only had 8 hour clinicals. I thin you should be fine with your grades. I don't think one C will bring you down too much. Did you take the TEAS yet?

Yes, I did attend back in March I want to say. But the Bio's are worth a lot of points. I got a 80 on my Teas, but I think a lot of girls have all A's. The clinicals are wherever they can put us! I think I will have a better shot at the Lpn-Rn bridge... I think I'm only at 235 seriously

Did you take any of the optional classes, Med term and Pharm.

I have already taken the LPN program, but not at Chatt Tech. I am trying to get in to the RN program so the pharm and med term aren't a requirement. But for the ASN the Soc, Hum, Comp A=20 B=10 C=5 I have taken all of them. My friend is applying for their LPN program and says they only have like 20-25 seats I think. I know she is finishing up those classes now that you mentioned. Did you go to the application session for the RN program?
