Hello all!!
I am applying to Charity School of Nursing for the Fall 2015 since I have missed the deadline for Spring 2015. I was wondering how does the calculations for the CSN Curriculum GPA is calculated? I am so confused. I have a GPA of a 3.5 (hopefully it would be higher with the course I am completing) from the current school I attend now. And a 3.1 from my previous university. I have taken all of the pre-nursing courses and I have taken microbiology and have a BS degree. When I attempt to try, I came up with a 75 for the profile score. I don't know if I am doing it right. Any help will do. Thanks

Your CSN GPA will only be the courses required in your curriculum. A&P I and II, Lec and lab, Math 118, 120, or 130, whichever you took, Englishes, your art elective, humanity, and psychology. Get your GPA of those and that's the CSN one, and then there is also a space for your overall GPA

So having good grades in the CSN and a high HESI score will get you a good chance of being accepted? I plan on applying in August for the spring 2015 and I am taking A&P 1 over plus micro 211 and my humanities and fine art in the spring semester now.

Yes both of those help meeky2006! They admit based on your overall profile score
Is it true you have to be done with 120 to apply? After the summer I will just have math 120 and a&p 2 lab left when I apply. I will take my stats and English 102 in the fall. Someone told me that you have to be done what math 120 to apply
I mean I will apply in August for the Spring 2016
I think so. I'm not sure of the exact math numbers but I know you need the one right before math 130 to apply...
Let me know how it turned out for you. I hope you get in!!

Hi Meeky2006. I am applying in August 2015 to be accepted Spring 2016 too! I was wondering if you know whether it's better to take all pre-reqs at Delgado or can I transfer all of my pre-reqs?
Thanks,
Brynne

It's less expensive and easier to take courses at DCC rather than transfer. However, you can have courses transferred from any accredited university in the country.
