I just applied to Northern Illinois University and they're the only school I'm applying to. I'm worried about getting in or not because I know they accept less transfers than students already at NIU, and I won't know what to do if I don't get in since I'm planning everything around getting accepted.
By the time they review my application and transcripts I will have 7/9 prerequisites completed:
-Anatomy and Physiology I and Anatomy and Physiology II
-Communications
-Chemistry
-Psychology
-Psychology Throughout the Lifespan
-Nutrition
-Probability and Statistics
My prereq GPA is a 4.0 and my accumulative GPA is 3.9. I also took Medical Terminology and received an A in that, though it's not required for NIU.
NIU also looks at the Reading Accuplacer Test, which I scored a 110/120 on.
I know not having all of the prerequisutes done will hurt me but I'm hoping my decent Accuplacer score and getting all A's in my prereqs makes up for that.
Do you think I have a good chance of getting in?
