I'm suppsed to go take this at the end of August. I heard it was better than the one offered by Excelsior.
Anyone been to this one who can tell me what to expect?

Soooo much better than the Excelsiors. Know your CE's before you get there so you do not have to waste brain energy. Have a list of questions that you would like to address before you get there also. When it comes to the lab portion, take the extra time to practice.

H60Medic,
What hotel did you stay at when you were there and do you recommend it?
Also, is there any additional advice you would give to those you will be attending it?
Thanks!

Yea, really, a week at the Super 8 in Fishers is going to be just under $400. I was hoping to find one of those efficiency apartments you can rent for about $160 a week. I'm going to do some searching today and if I find anything I'll post it on here.
Between Chancellor's workshop and Excelsior I'm being eaten alive with fee's, especially here toward the end. I'm worn out from trying to pick up all the extra work I can and I'm eating beenie weenies and crackers. It's bad when you see the guy on the side of the road with a sign and you start wondering where there is another good corner or exit ramp.
I sure hope this will all be worth it.
There is actually a cheaper hotel that is reccomended by Chancellors. I do not remember the name of it, but when you contact them requesting info they will provide it. There are plenty of walmarts, winn dixies, ect that you can stock up to keep from eating out everyday. They actually encourage you to bring your lunch while you are attending.

It's great. I stayed at Studio 6 about 46.00 a night. I was ok right by Walmart.
Thanks for commenting - that is where I plan on making reservations.
When are you supposed to go to this workshop? If it is the same week I'm going, I will be the short fat one named Jennifer, likely wearing a scrub top with a big black skirt or avacado green pants...I either wear one outfit or the other all the time.
Don't forget to stop for a few minutes and say hi.
I am going to the workshop Aug 21st through the 26th. Is that the week you will be there? I hear that they only schedule around 5-6 people, so it should be easy to find me also. I'm the tall, pregnant one named Margie.
Perhaps I'll see you there!

Only 5 or 6 people? About 6 hrs. a day? They must really put you through the ringer at that place! But that's good! I want to do everything I can to make darn sure I pass!
I thought the workshop started August 22. I guess I should plan to leave a day earlier.
See you there.
