Well it looks like I won't be attending Chamberlain after all. For some reason my Fafsa keeps getting selected for verification..I keep submitting all the documents they ask for tax returns, W2's etc and still the Fafsa comes up looking for verification even after they corrected it. If I can't get financial aid I can't attend...I'm really bummed, this was the perfect time for to go back to school since I'm not working..:crying2:

I have recently completed the BSN program through Chamberlain, they are very supportive and definitely painless. I would recommend their program to anyone. I am currently looking into a Masters program , not quite sure if I want to go through Chamberlain again or somewhere else. Good Luck to everyone.

Looks like there are a couple of us taking classes. I am starting up in July as well. They gave me generous credit from my past courses. got 82 credits. So i 'll have to take only 13 more courses. How about you ? how much credit did you get ?

Hay I sart in july 2 taking transitional nursing and sociology 351 any one else in this class i would love to know.:nurse:

Looks like there are a couple of us taking classes. I am starting up in July for the same courses as well. They gave me generous credit from my past courses. got 82 credits. So i 'll have to take only 13 more courses. How about you ? how much credit did you get ? Feel free to contact me..

I'm still debating what to take and waiting to hear about some transfer credits I have asked be re-submitted for eval. I'm full-time so I plan on carrying 17 credits. I'm leaning towards Transitions, Cultural diversity, and the Algebra for the first 8 weeks. I have taken college algebra and am pushing for the credit, if I have to take it I will. I enjoy math and it wasn't difficult when I took it. If they give me credit for it I'll swap out the algebra for stats and get that out of the way. I'm not working right now so I figure better to bang it out as fast as I can. I should know more later on today or tomorrow. I'm also looking forward to getting started so I can get it done.

My husband told me to just press on and if the all financial aid doesn't come through we will just make up the difference between the total and the loans. I feel better, I'd certainly like the grant to come through but at least I know I can still attend regardless of the outcome. I'm still waiting to hear on the number of credits they accepted. I'm hoping to hear today that will allow me to decide what classes to take and when. Congrats to everyone that is starting in July!

Christy, isn't she great?? That's why I passed her contact information around quite liberally! :D

I finished Econ today! Took my final exam. I won't get my grade until the 25th, though. Ugh. Then I'm off for the next 8-week session, and then back to it at the end of August. I'll be taking NR294 -- Health Assessment.

Did you look for university of phoenix or places like that ? and what was better about chamberlian. ? Thanks for your time .

I only have to take 10 courses. They were very generous in accepting my credits.

I told her we were spreading her name around...but in a good way. She thinks I'm nuts. ha ha ha She usually replies "you're so funny". She rocks.

So I finally got my credits evaluated by Chamberlain and I only need to take 10 classes!! Yeah! They gave me credit for a nursing class-health assessment so I don't need to take that but they wouldn't give me credit for the college algebra and I need to take a placement test on Saturday to see if I can take college algebra or if I need to start lower. That is very odd since since I took beg algebra, intermediate algebra, and college algebra and got an A in all of them from the same school. So I'm doing the refresher course they offer today and tomorrow to brush up because I only want to have to take the 10 classes. I'm carrying the full course load of 17 credits a semester so they said it will take me two semesters to complete. I'm so excited!!
