Spring Acceptance 2019 Sac Campus

Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Published

Hello everyone! I want to reach out to everyone who applied to the Chamberlain Sacramento campus for spring 2019. I have already taken my HESI exams and submitted the required forms. My counselor stated that they would be deciding either yesterday or today on who would be accepted. They should be alerting everyone within the next couple weeks. I'm very anxious to find out. Let me know if they have contacted you! Good luck to everyone!

Is that the May 2019 start?

I'm just curious because I am wanting to apply, the lady on the phone recommend that I take 13 units at the community college to raise my GPA above a 3.0, currently I'm at a 2.86. I asked if I finished in December if I applied in January when I could start. She said May.

Hi, I have also applied to Spring 2019 Sacramento Campus. We are to hear back by the end of next week, November 23rd. Have you received a phone call yet?

I received my call November 27th. I was not deemed Academically Eligible. :(

Good luck everyone!

I also received a call I was not academically illegible. We won't let this stop us!

What does that even mean "academic eligible"?

What were your stats?

It means that they want you to be considered as a candidate but you aren't officially accepted until after background, drug test, ect. Check then you are officially accepted so until then they tell you, you are academically eligible and would like to continue with your application. I had a 3.46 GPA with an A in Anatomy and a B in Microbiology and I was in progress with Physiology. My hesi score was lower 80's, which is what I believed hendered my acceptance at Sac Campus.

Thanks for letting me know I appreciate that! I just had my second HESI attempt today. My first was a 91.3 and waiting to get back my chamberlain score from today's. My GPA is about a 3.2 but I scored well in my sciences. It will be interesting to see how this pans out. It's hard to gauge what stats they are looking for.

That is a great hesi score! That is definitely what they are looking for, as in GPA I have clue... she said mine was competative but same time looking on here lowest anyone posted being accepted was 3.5 but I am going to hope you are good due to hesi score! Keep us updated!
