Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta, GA

Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Published

Has anyone attended or is currently attending Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta? If so, how is it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am currently attending a technical college and have done all of my pre requisites except for the sciences. My gpa is 3.40. I just found out about this school and I am very interested... thanks.

It's good to know they consider feedback from current students. Yay the students opinions matter!!

You are absolutely right. That's why I popped in because when we started, there were no current students to talk to or get feedback from. Even though we aren't the first class, it kinda of felt like we were (IMO). The campus is so new, and when we started things were kind of chaotic, but things are coming together now. It will get better and better as time goes on.

Has anyone started clinicals? Does anyone know where the clinical sites are?

I haven't started clinicals yet, but according to the clinical director, they have sites all over the Atlanta area from hospitals, clinics, jails, mental health facilities and more. They said that you will know in enough time ahead where Ur site will be so arrangements can be made. The good thing about Chamberlain in comparison to other schools is that the clinical instructors go are present with you on the site. Also, they don't make you find you find your own clinical location...some other schools do.

Chamberlain is my second choice... a good friend of mine graduated from iuon in 2 years with a Bsn . .but its not good for people who have kids, because you have to live on island for 4 semesters .. thank you for your information about the math... I wish you all the best... feel free to keep me updated

Thanks! Has anyone heard of anyone getting accepted to a Master's degree program at well known schools after graduating from Chamberlin?

Thx for all the feedback!!

I think , but don't quote me on this they have a masters program

Hi all! I don't know if these questions have been asked before but I would really love everyone's opinion since you all have already started your nursing journey and I'm still hoping I can get in somewhere, I currently have a 2.8 at Georgia Perimeter and am currently in AP2. I had a hard time with Statistics and Economics over the summer and they dropped my GPA.. I know Chamberlain's min. gpa that they accept is 2.75. Does anyone know how my low GPA will affect my getting accepted? I currently have A's in A&P2 so I'm hoping that boosts my gpa before I apply.

Also, how have you all handled the accelerated 8 week classes at Chamberlain?

I'm a PCT at Emory right now, and just from the experience I'm gaining, it's just more confirmation that I am called to be a nurse. *fingers crossed*

Congrats to all who've been accepted, passed the HESI, and all the other great things happening for everyone!

Hello Kaypo nice to see another fellow GPCer on here. I too am taking A&P 2!! I've yet to take economics or stats. Who was yr Econ teacher if u don't mind me asking. I'm thinking if taking stats at Chamberlain next Fall.

Hello All,

It's been a while since I've posted on here with studying for the HESI and everything. I just wanted to say that today I took my exam and PASSED. I'm so happy and overwhelmed with Joy. This has been a long journey for me with applying to several other schools as well in the past. Thank you everyone for all your help and support. Continue to encourage one another. We are all in this together.

@Nurse2b7337 I took Betty Laduke for Macroeconomics. I suggest taking MICRO because it's easier. I'm hoping I can go ahead and apply at Chamberlain and they wait for the end of this semester to see my GPA.
