Chamberlain College of Nursing Chicago campus

Published

Okay so I recently got accepted to Chamberlain in the Chicago campus and I'm so undecisive. I've read reviews but I don't know what to believe. Are there any nursing students currently at Chamberlain who can inform me about the school? Is it reliable? I don't want my money to go to waste I want a good education. Please someone help!!

Im interested in attending this school as well. Can i ask you though, how much is the tuition there?

I did a lot of my pre reqs already but I will have to still pay around 27000 a year for 2 years

I just graduated from this campus. While I had my issues, it's worth noting that I've heard students from EVERY area program complain about one thing or another (disorganized, high tuition, etc.). Self-determination matters more than anything. I got a job right after graduating (a really good one at that), which is great because new grads are a dime a dozen here and you'll be competing for the same spots as those from the numerous programs in Chicago. I took the nclex as soon as possible and passed. My advice, whatever program you decide on, is to persevere and take advantage of the resources available to you. Some of the greatest people I've ever known work at Chamberlain Chicago, and they greatly outnumber the few bad apples. Nursing programs are extremely challenging by design. Critical Care seems to be the biggest hurdle at this point, and that course at this campus has serious issues that still need to be addressed.

Just know you'll feel like you're going crazy no matter which school you go to! Being friendly and engaging in class will help you. Please, for the love of God, do not contribute to the nasty culture associated with nursing students, not an accusation, rather a general plea. It's tired and needs to stop. Gum or anything mint should win you lots of friends.
