Nursing Students Chamberlain College

Published

Has anyone attended or is currently attending Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta? If so, how is it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am currently attending a technical college and have done all of my pre requisites except for the sciences. My gpa is 3.40. I just found out about this school and I am very interested... thanks.

oh ok...cool...well stay positive, you just may get in! Now if you were to get into both programs, which would you choose? LOL

Omg....well I like that gptc is close to home....and having 3 kids a husband and custody of my brother I would have to choose gptc. But I really want to go to Chamberlain. I like that its a 3 yr BSN. thats what i want in the end. I plan on doing lpn to rn bridge. right now I guess that the stepping stone plan is best for me. I really really wish I could swing the Chamberlain though. Which ever direction I go I know I will get there one way or another....I can feel it!

hello tpowell1209,did u get in?

hi tpowell1209, have u heard from them? did u get in?

Hi delets! I re schuduled to take my test in July to get a better score....being that my GPA is right at the minimum... I want to get at least a 90 or higher on the test that way I can have a higher chance getting in the program.

Angelynn Hey have you heard anything yet? This is completely bumming me out because I also plan to use 9/11 GI bill. I have my appt with them to pay for my drug screening and background check on the 28th. I'm also supposed to start in Sept.

I GOT IN!!!!!! I got the call yesterday afternoon! SOO EXCITED...SEE U GUYS IN THE FALL!!!

Congrats phrozenone!!!! I got in too!!!

I am starting to wonder if I need to attend this college? I applied for the second time at Gptc and once again I got denied! Its so stupid because they only accept 20 students! So how hard is this hesi exam?

@MindyydniM

the hesi was super easy to me! i got a 93. idk if u've taken the teas before but its WAY easier! The thing i love about chamberlain is that there is virtually no limit! they wont deny you because they ran out of space. I REALLY think you should give it a try. I put my emotions into too many of these "regular" schools in Atlanta. U get tired of the game at some point. Im thru with it. I encourage u to give Chamberlain a try...

I really want to but its the drive to atlanta....I live in covington ga. what did you score on the teas if you dont mind me asking? and yes Ive taken the teas twice. does the hesi have a study booklet you can purchase?

I feel u...its easier for me bc i live in sandy springs about 10 min from the school. I got a 78% on the teas. i took it 2 yrs ago. The hesi does have a few study guides that you can get at like barnes and nobles or borders. You might even be able to find it at the library. PLUS you can use a calculator for the math!
