Hello. I am looking for more information about the AGACNP program at Chamberlain. I wanted to know what the program is like, how are the online classes and how often were students going in to school for labs? Anything would be greatly appreciated.

	Hi all,

I received my acceptance for the May 2025 cohort for the BSN program at the Sacramento campus. My question is does the campus offer a decent amount of evening and weekend classes? How about online classes? For context I'm trying to determine how flexible the program is because I need to work part-time at minimum.

	Thanks in Advance!

I know the Chamberlain is a VERY expensive, for-profit school. Fortunately, my education is mostly taken care of due to military benefits.

My concern now is the reputation of Chamberlain and if going to this school will have a negative impact on finding a job as an RN in the future. From what I read, reviews are mixed. But a lot of the students going to the school seem to have a positive experience.

	What do you think?

I am waiting to hear back from them on whether or not I've been accepted. I still plan on applying to UTH, as well as ADN programs such as HCC and Wharton, but I'm really hoping Chamberlain works for me... Its the most convenient for me?

	Thank you in advance!

New to the boards. I've been lurking for a while but finally decided to join. I applied for Chamberlain about 2 weeks ago, and took the HESI 5 days later. After meeting with the advisor and going over my test results, I was told that the committee would have a decision for me by the end of the week. Fast-forward to today, and I received an email containing the financial aid that I'm eligible to receive each semester(I had already completed the FAFSA and sent it to Chamberlain prior to submitting my application). Using my student ID number, i'm able to log into the student portal and I notice that there's a Chamberlain email address set up for me already. My question is... Does this mean I've been admitted? I haven't received any phone calls/mail correspondence stating that I've been formally accepted, but the email today seems like a step in the right direction. Thoughts? Has anyone else been through this?

Applying to Chamberlain nj

	Hi everyone I just joined!

Im currently applying to Chamberlain in New Jersey.. actually will be taking the entrance exam in 2 hours! I’m thinking if I got in to possibly start in march or whatever session that comes after January so that I can finish the remaining prerequisites.
A little about me, I’m coming from New York so hopefully I’ll move near campus once I find out if I got in. I’m finishing my associates in pre clinical nursing this semester in NY. I’ve finished my A&P 1&2 ( did pretty well), psychology classes, English classes, some math classes, history etc. I know I still have to take Microbiology, Chemistry, statistics and a few others such as political science/ethics but I was informed by my advisor that I can take most (or all) online using study.com! You can do it in your own pace and test out of those courses which I thought was pretty neat. I was also informed that they would need to be complete or in the process of being completed before I start. Those classes are not offered in this campus as far as I know. But having the flexibility to take them online and take some “time off” before I start AND reduce the time and cost of the program is a hugee blessing.

I will update about the process and information I get along the way. I know I’ve been lurking here looking for more information, and possibly other people are too. Hoping to post information about how long the program would be for me since I’ve completed/completing the prerequisites, how much it would be after that and financial aid etc etc

Ill update about HESI after I take it/get my results. As of now the topics on the test are reading & comprehension, vocabulary & general knowledge, biology and anatomy and physiology. Topics such as math, grammar, Chemistry and physics is not required. I’m not sure if that means I still have to take it but we’ll see.

More importantly I want to know who else is planning on attending this campus in January/ March! Hopefully we can connect :)

When I first started college, I failed my first two terms and it ruined my GPA. Since then I have been trying to get it up as much as possible. It is now a 2.3. I have been studying for my HESI like crazy and hoping to do really well on it. I have a phone call with an advisor from Chamberlain tomorrow. It says online a 2.75 is required but students can still apply and submit more information to the committee to try and still get in. Do you think I have a chance? I'm so mad at myself for ruining my GPA when I was young.

I'm currently enrolled in Sacred Heart University online RN to BSN program but according to my plan of study I'll be taking 4 more classes than Chamberlain. I know it is more expensive but I wonder if it's worth it considering I'll be taking 4 less classes. Is chamberlain difficult? Alot of papers? How about the Capstone? I know Chamberlain does not require clinical time but Sacred Heart does. Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you

	Hi,

I am currently (was) attending the Chamberlain college of nursing in Texas, their new Dallas/Irving campus. I am in my mid 20's and have had a tough road getting here, but I was so thankful to have finally made it into a nursing program!

I am still determining how it works at other nursing schools, but at ours, you have to have an average of 76 on your tests (combined) before they factor in all of your other completed works (care plans, papers, case studies, etc.).

I am in Fundaments II, Patient Care. I have had an okay ride with the class, and I find myself rushing through the tests and making silly mistakes. We have had three trials and must take a HESI exam to complete the course.

On the first two tests, I made 73's. Mind you, 76+ is passing. On the third test, I made an 81. Each test was weighted differently, so after the 81, my average was 76.48. All I needed on my HESI was a 74 to keep my 76 test average.
On Wednesday, I scored 70 on my HESI, and my test average was 75.61. Thus, they failed me in the course, and now I am out of the program.

The very first class I failed was Fundamentals I, with a 74. I retook that and made an 87. The first time I had many personal things going on, and I couldn't grasp the concepts how I needed to.

Nonetheless, since this is my second time failing a course in the program, I am out. Overall for .39 points. I have never been so discouraged in all of my days. I studied my rear off for that HESI, but my nerves got the best of me, and I knew two questions for sure as soon as I clicked next, the correct answer dawned on me......Those could have been my lifeline.

I feel so discouraged and awful. Of course, I can apply to other programs and see if I can get in, but this sets me back soo much, and honestly, the only reason I went to Chamberlain was that I felt like I wouldn't get accepted without being waitlisted anywhere else. I have an Associates, and my science GPA is alright, but I feel hopeless. All my hard work after a year has just gone down the drain, and I am back to square one.

All I needed was a 74, and I walked into the exam feeling confident. I could almost flip the book's pages back and forth in my head; that's how much I went over the material.

The school is soo expensive that I need more financial aid. As much as I'd like to blame my mom for digging in my pockets so heavily or my coworkers for making work a living hell, all while I was in the program this past year, busting my bum and working full time -- I know that I am the only one who wasn't good enough at the end of the day.

How do I move forward from this? I have five schools I have decided to apply to for the Spring, but even that is expensive. ($60/application here in tx).

I feel lost and crappy. Life has been beating the living hell out of me for the past ten years. And my brain feels fried. I would appreciate any advice.

I have reached out to my academic advisor -- calls and emails. But she is unresponsive, which she has been since I began the program, so it is nothing new. I plan to go to the campus tomorrow and talk to someone physically.

I am currently enrolled and need to do my fingerprints. I have an arrest on my record with no conviction. This happened a few years ago while being an RN. I have sealed my record; however, I am told it is sealed to the public and may be seen at a federal level. UGH, I am so worried this is going to keep me from finishing. Any suggestions?

	Hi everyone,

I reside in Houston and I'm considering the Pearland campus, but I've come across so many negative reviews that it's making nervous. I'm torn between Chamberlain and WGU for my prelicensure BSN. I have completed my pre reqs as well. I'm considering Chamberlain over WGU due to the opportunity to go in person since the Pearland location is offering night/weekend classes and I feel I would thrive better in an in person environment rather than be strictly online for lecture. I have read some good reviews as well, but the bad ones are pretty bad. I've seen everything from money issues, learning concerns, job placement, instructors and staff. But this has been blanketed over Chamberlain as a whole and the Houston campus. I'm having a harder time finding information directly related to the Pearland campus.

So if anyone would be willing to give me the nitty gritty on the Pearland location, I'd greatly appreciate it.

	Hi everyone,

I've applied to Chamberlain University School Of Nursing, Pearland campus for the September '22 cohort. They offer an evening/weekend program which will allow me to continue working.

My HESI score was 83.29%, I'm also a LVN, and already have a bachelors and master's degrees in other fields. My undergrad GPA is just below a 3.0, I had a 3.0 in my Vocational Nursing program and same for my master's degree.

I'm just wondering what my chances are of getting into the Chamberlain University, Pearland campus? Any thoughts are welcome. My admissions advisor seemed very positive but of course now I'm stressed out.

	Thanks again everyone!

	Hello everyone.

I apologize if this gets asked a lot but I recently got accepted into Chamberlain for Spring 2022. However, I'm a bit concerned with the cost and the amount of debt later on in the road. I also can't seem to find any reviews about this particular Chamberlain. Probably because of the fact that it is still a new university.

For those that attended or are attending Chamberlain how is it? Do the professors care? Are there any problems with the university I should know like understaffed clinical instructors? How is the quality of the university and education?

Any additional information I should is welcomed. Thank you.
