Chamberlain BSN 2023 - Sacramento

Hi, I do not see a topic for future applicants of the BSN Program at Chamberlain starting January 2023. Just wanted to know where everyone is at in the application process. For those not applying to the Sacramento location, any input/stats/conversation would still be helpful!

Hey guys, I am not sure if any of you received an email stating that we need to take Math placement test this includes Algebra and Arithmetic. I don't get it ? why do I need to take it again since I took Math HESI. Blow my mind. Also, I emailed my advisor on why no body showed up to the financial seminar last Thursday at 2 pm. Finally, she answered back stating that they have issues with thier system and the link isn't working. All the financial seminar was push back all the way to November 1st. Why they can't just let the student know before hand that  they have the issue with thier link. This is so unprofessional ? ?

Wow! November 1st is so far away. And I went to the meeting last week before they had issues. It’s literally just the financial overview video that we had to watch and they fill out a hypothetical estimated financial plan to show us how to do it. It’s stuff that I was told to complete before doing the seminar so it felt like a waste of time honestly

I haven’t gotten an email about it so I don’t think so? Did they send those out today? They know I took stats at Sierra but they said I have to take algebra ?

I took Stat and Intermediate Algebra too. I don't get it to be honest with you.

@Rose326 oh that’s weird. Especially if you did good on the math portion of the HESI. I’m supposed to join a meeting tomorrow to set up my drug and background screening but I wonder if it’ll work now since the financial seminars are getting pushed back ? 

This process has been stressful but I think it’ll all be worth it ?

I got 98% on my Math HESI and all A's on my Math courses. I don't understand at all. I will find out next Friday if I get into Delta and I will drop Chamberlain right away.

Will they give you the application fee back? ?

I don't think so. I think I have to pay them $200 for that enrollment agreement I believe.
