This is when AP starts to get hard! The teacher even said this to class! Anyways, we are on ch 9 muscle tissue. Dealing with excitation-contraction coupling, and mcroscopic anatomy of muscle tissue. I can't seem to grasp all this! So much info and a week to learn the chapter before a weekly quiz. anyone have tips on how they got through?

Khanacademy.com was a lifesaver for tropomyosin, actin, and all that. Also check youtube for some great demonstrative videos. You might have to weed through, but it really helps you with more difficult concepts.

Hey,
I use to visit http://www.getbodysmart.com/menu.html frequently when I was in A&P. Explore the Muscular System and Muscle Tissue Physiology links on the menu. That information ought to help you out a bit- if not the whole website. I know it helped me a bunch. Good luck with studying! Hope this helped.

Make your own flashcards. Print out pictures of each kind of muscle/cells and paste them on one side of an index card. On the other side, HANDWRITE the corresponding information on the back. Literally, when you have aspare minute, go over the cards. Do this over and over. This advice comes straight from my lecture instructor. I was annoyed the first time I sat and actually made all of my cards, but I passed my practical with a 97. Got an 96 on my bones practical. Muscles are next. Good luck to you!!!
thanks!
