Hi. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines.
I just passed the Philippines Nursing Licensure last June 2007.
Which means I am still waiting for my license card (which I will
be able to get in 3 1/2 months
I am going to take the NCLEX exam probably next year February
and i already got my ATT.
and I just thought maybe I can take CGFNS exam as well although it is not required in California, I still want to take it.
I am just wondering who can help me regarding the requirements for CGFNS qualifying exam.
My questions:
1.) Which should I apply in order to qualify for the exam, Is it the Certification program or the CES? im confused.
2.) In the Request for Validation of license, I should give it to the Philippines Regulatory Commision ( PRC) ???
3.) It says I should have a secondary diploma, so I should get a copy
again from my highshool?
4.) It also says I should sign the passport picture in front,
i should sign it below the picture??
5.) When I mail my transcripts from the school, is it okay to mail it
together with my application form or separate it?
6.) Is it easier if I apply online and send the hard copies like transcripts instead?? I am planning to pay thru credit card..
7.) It says that I should pass my English Proficiency exam before I get
my certification, is it okay if i take the CGFNS first before I take the English Exam? then probably just follow up the requirements once I pass the IELTS exam?
thanks in advance.

I can't understand why you want to take something when you don't have to.

I agree with Anna. There is no point still taking the CGFNS certification. However, if that's what you want then you can go to their website at www.cgfns.org and read the current handbook for CGFNS certification. Detailed instructions can be found their.
