CGFNS or IERF ? I don't know which one to choose?

Hi!

I am about to submit my application for licensure in the USA. But I don't know which credentialing agency evaluator to choose : the CGFNS or the IERF?

The IERF seems to be the easiest way to me because apparently it's less expensive and there is no exam (like the CGFNS qualifying exam), but I don't want to do a mistake.

I hope that someone will be able to help me and explain to me why I should choose one and not the other.

Thank you very much in advance for your answers :)

I went with CGFNS to get my CES approved. I don't know anything about IERF, but with CGFNS i didn't have to take an exam. I think it depends on your citizenship if you're required to take an exam. Me, I went to the Philippines for my BSN but i wasn't required to take an additional exam because I'm a US citizen.

Hope this helps.

CGFNS is required by most states but CGFNS doesn't offer just the exam they also do CES which is the same as IERF. Basically a breakdown on your transcripts. If you require a visa screen certificate ie not a US citizen or not the main applicant for immigration visa then I would go with CGFNS CES report as the same documents can be used for visa screen certificate and all you have to do is arrange with BON to send verification you passed NCLEX on you pass NCLEX
