I am so frustrated. I started my CES process Feb 2018, send in all my documents. It has been 9 weeks since they started the CES reviewing of my documents process. I received an email saying that my college didn't include pharmacology hours. My college had send an official separate letter listed all my hours which included my pharmacology hours. I called CGFNS and stated this and the rep said "Well that document wasn't uploaded and I can't see it, but it was transcribed as a transcript" I kept telling her that it is signed and stamped with my school seal but she kept pushing the 1 hour virtual conference call option or to get my school to re-fill and send the original "record for academic transcript" form.
My other dilemma is that I had submitted my WA state application form and fees, which they received and emailed me stating that I didn't include my nursing academic transcript (which I didn't send as I was going thru CGFNS), and has given me 30 days before my application becomes "invalid."
I have no idea what to do. I don't understand why the hours needs to be on their "record for academic transcript form" when my school has sent in a secondary letter, and the letter that they sent my school doesn't even state that they need to refill that form. I am worried that after pharmacology they will send another letter saying oh please verify ethic hours too.
Has anyone had to deal with something similar? I don't want to lose my money and have to reapply to WA state. Sorry for the long message.

Do the "virtual consultation". The people who answer the phone don't know anything. The virtual consultation people are much more helpful (though not incredibly so).
Frankly, your Washington state money is gone; you shouldn't have sent in your application and fee. It's very unlikely the CGFNS process will be done within 30 days. You're already moving much, much faster through CGFNS than many others have. I guess, if you haven't, you could explain the situation to the BRN and ask them if they will extend; I don't know what they'll say. But as I remember, it says on the website not to apply until you've been through CGFNS. Good luck!

Thank you for replying, at 8 weeks I figured everything was going well and submitted my WA application (got a bit excited). Thank you for the advise I will try contacting them and see what they say. Have you tried the "virtual consultation"?
Yes, I've done two. I certainly haven't gotten the answers I wanted, but the person I spoke with had firsthand knowledge and understanding of the case and the process.
Just to give you some perspective, my husband began his CGFNS application in July 2016. You won't have nearly the amount of trouble we have, because part of our problems are language/cultural/logistical getting documents from Africa. But to be sure CGFNS itself has put insane roadblocks in our way, and our case doesn't seem to be unusual (look up their reviews online).

CGFNS is horrible to deal with. They show docs received and then send letter saying they dont have them..never received them. Track everything you send them. My transcripts and schooling are from Canada in English and still have issues. October will be one yr..they just sent a letter saying I will have to start over again if info not received by Oct. College said were sent. Terrible service.
I am also from Canada. I am surprised at how difficult it is trying to get the to go thru documents in a timely manner. I resubmitted my nursing documents just in case they find9 something else lacking, as well as the requested document. It has been a month since it was uploaded (I did tracking this time too).
What is the update on your process?
Did you have to wait another 10-12 weeks again after re-sumbitting the documents?

I heard there are other companies that you can get your documents evaluated from that are more "user-friendly" (that's what my college was mentioning when I was going thru this). Did CGFNS eventually accept and complete the process?
We are still in process. Yes, they add another 10-12 weeks on every time they receive the requested document (or anyway, they CAN do that). In our case, we paid for the ten day expedited review this time, and they restart the ten days each time they request something and we get it sent--though thank goodness, we don't have to pay the expedite fee each time. However, it's been fifteen business days since the last time they said all documents were received and the file was ready for review. I called on Friday and they seemed puzzled and said they would expedite the matter.
Yes, I've also heard that CGFNS is the most difficult agency to deal with, though the others also have some negative reviews.
I am still waiting. My school resent my documents and allowed me to pay for tracking. I checked it today and tracking said undeliverable but card left at facility. It apparently arrived at 230 this afternoon, not sure why it could not be signed for. Soo frustrated and time is ticking. How has your process moved along?
