Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I would go about finding continuing education credits so that I may apply to become a CARN.  I believe I need 30 credits plus my nursing experience.  Just not sure where or how to start going about this process. Thank you for any info!

Hi there!

If you haven’t already, create an account on the California BreZe system here:https://www.breeze.ca.gov/datamart/mainMenu.do;jsessionid=gJd7EkQ-0FbCAIVJkShQIv4VvlIm357mgf5_5mgZ.dca-fp-98-o-17

this article is very helpful

I know travel nurses who say it can take a while to get licensed when they are from other states.

i hope this helps and good luck to you!

I went to Western Schools and took a course on Substances Abuse and Addictions that was 30 ceus.  It was entirely online.  It satisfied the requirement for the ceus to get my CARN.
